DescriptionThis piece has its genesis on CAF. I was browsing through a gallery and came across a fellow CAf'ers work. His name is Jovi Neri. This is a link to his gallery.http://cafurl.com?i=19163 He had re-imagined a new cover to the iconic Legion story "the Death of Superboy " I was impressed and asked him to take on a Re-Legion project. He replied he was a fanboy not a professional artist. So we struck a deal. I would get Chris Ivy to color his beloved Superboy piece and share with Jovi some of his experience and skills of the process, if he did pencils on a new piece for me. Jovi & Chris agreed and so "Worlds Collide Issue 11 " was born. I am grateful to Jovi for taking the leap of faith. Jovi did a lovely remake of Identity Crisis . He is very talented and is branching out in recreations & commissions.Chris then digitally blue-lined, inked it and did logo and backgrounds. I am thrilled with the results. Jovi has done other work since but I think I officially am his first "trade"or "indirect paid " commission. On a personal note Chris Ivy has been working on other projects, so I am happy to post something by him after a long break, Chris' schedule has freed up a little ( I am still working him hard !) so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to anyone out there. He gives 110% This whole saga underscores how valuable the CAF website is, in the way it connects people who would otherwise never meet. Enjoy Aidan Social/Sharing |

I really wish it would be legal for you to release hardbound coffeetable book versions of your series. I'd totally buy them.

I also want to wholeheartedly second Aidan's praise of Chris Ivy. I've had him do a number of things for me and he really is one of your top guys. Highest recommendation.

Jovi is indeed very good, the penciled version looks great - nice to read the whole experience.

Chris is an incredible artist and this turned out very well. He did a great job coloring my work elsewhere, and I love the inks here. It was indeed a pleasure working on this piece, I still remember it well - I was pencilling while watching the 2012 British Open Golf tournament. But credit goes to the original artist who inspired this piece - the great Michael Turner. Thanks again for giving me this opportunity!

!!! WOW !!! - This cover is STAGGERINGLY awesome!!! Long Live the Legion (and The X-Men)!!!It is indeed. The funny thing is that this was part of a deal. Jovi did this piece for me and in return I paid Chris to ink his piece. It links into my next posting for The Prime Time Paradox and into a favorite story-line of yours " The Death of Superboy ". So indirectly, your gallery is part of this and you will see how it all fits together very soon...

Wow. This is nice.Thank you. It is quite the coincidence ( or The Time Trapper manipulating events ) that now is the moment, you choose to make a comment . I just finished a six part sequence of " Untold Tales " that will reveal whose remains are in the casket and what effect this hero's death will have on two universes. Stay tuned....
