Description

Even though I was already picking up a commission and one of Eduardo�s Jonah Hex pages at Planet Comicon, I couldn�t help but eye other beauties to take home with me.

Every Risso page is filled with storytelling genius, but this one jumped out at me more than all the others thanks to the negative space of the priest�s robes. Coupled with the umbrella and silhouettes of the trees, it grabs the eye and doesn�t let go. On top of that, it features multiple members of the Trust in panels two, three and four.

Some great designs by Risso. Every blocky solid black shape of the characters look like tombstones themselves. Notice we don't have any actual tomebstones at all on the page.

The balance of the umbrellas and the trees in the first panel is worth the price of admission all on its own.
