for me, it's a joy that this artwork has come to my collection. i followed and even contributed to its creation for my dear and late friend marcio escoteiro during ccxp19. he wanted to bring together on the same blank cover a sketch from @rafael_grampa and @frankmillerofficial, both guests of that edition of the event.

the first sketch was made by grampá during the convention, after my request for him to reserve a spot for escoteiro on the sketch list. the second artwork came almost accidentally. during the post-ccxp party, and after presenting the @batmanexperienceoficial exhibition in detail to frank miller, they were talking here at my home, and suddenly i saw miller with the magazine in his hand, making a sketch right here in the living room, where i am writing from now.

"it was he who offered!" escoteiro said. it was true: miller was there, excited, making the sketch standing up. escoteiro was radiant. escoteiro passed away the following year, and a few weeks ago, the blank cover went up for auction. now it's with me. besides having drawings from these giants, it's a memory of this story and, above all, of my dear friend. i believe he's also happy that i'm the new guardian of this item that he worked so hard to get with so much dedication and passion.
