DescriptionThe day has come. It has been a dream for decades and it finally happened: I am the proud owner of an original art page from the fables Crisis on Infinite Earths, one of the first comic books I read and one of the reasons my entire life revolves around comics and art.I am a huge Aquaman fan and, as a plus, this is the page when Aqualad hears from Mera that Tula (Aquagirl) is dead. This connects directly to the mini Tempest by Phil Jimenez (from the late 90s), when Tula "resurrects". It happens that I owe a couple of double page spreads from Tempest (also in this gallery) and I plan to have those framed side by side :) Social/Sharing |

Crisis was such a seminal event, magnificent art, good storytelling with lasting consequences. I am glad that you have something so special and meaningful in your collection. Enjoy

Wow! The series that got me interested in current comic books (at the time) again. Despite the Flexographic printing that muddied Zip-A-Tone effects, etc. once Ordway started inking it I was hooked! All those characters and a perfect art team to handle them! When I started working for DC and got to go to their offices the first time I got a foreign printing of CRISIS with a better print job! Did the artwork more justice!
