DescriptionIt was back in 2000 when I had the chance to go to my very first comic con in the US. It was in Chicago and one of the guests was the late Eduardo Barreto. We spent a long time talking outside the convention center while he was smoking, talking about life in Uruguay (his home country) and Brazil (mine). Then he asked for a piece of paper and worked on this sketch right there while saying he loved the Brazilian coastline. That's one of the pleasures of attending comic cons and meeting the artists you love: you are able to collect treasure items but even more treasured stories.Social/Sharing |
