Description

A commission I got from Archie artist/writer Dan Parent and creator of Archie's first openly gay character, Kevin Keller. Here, we have an homage to one of the Silver Age's most classic covers -- Curt Swan’s Adventure Comics #247. But in this version, instead of the Legion of Super-Heroes rejecting poor Superboy, we have the Archie Super-Teens welcoming Kevin to their club. Purchased in 2011.

Featured characters (left to right): Jughead Jones (as Captain Hero), Archie Andrews (as Pureheart the Powerful), Veronica Lodge (as Miss Vanity), Kevin Keller (as Superboy)
