DescriptionI grew up reading Dark Knight Returns when I was a teenager, and felt that it was the greatest comic book I've ever read at that time. Fast forward 25 years later, I continue to believe it's still one of the top 3 comic books ever written.I think anyone born in the 70s would agree that getting a great page from Dark Knight Returns would be the highlight of their collection. I've been collecting comic art since 2003 and have waited a LONG LONG time to get a nice page from this series. Finally after so many years of waiting, my good friend Scott shows me this piece and tells me this cover is available! I never in my wildest dreams would have thought I could ever get a cover from DKR! My eternal gratitude to Scott for making me feel like a kid every time I look at this piece. Miller did this cover in 1996 for the 10th Anniversary Slipcase of Dark Knight Returns, at the peak of his Sin City run. 12 x 18" Social/Sharing |

Awesome Piece Indeed!!! One of the most if not the most Iconic Image of the (older) Dark Knight!!! One of my Favorite stories!!! (of all time!!!)

Do you one better Jamie. I was born in the 60's and 100% agree that this is arguably the greatest comic series ever drawn/written. Your Cover is brilliant and I hope you enjoy it for years to come.

A piece of history!! Miller is the best storyteller in the medium and DKR is his masterpiece
