Now, how can one compete with THAT ?!? Incredible piece, which really fits the term 'grail' ! BTW, I noticed the cool, actual grail, which Spidey and Lizard are fighting over in this image !! I'm sure many CAFers would put such a fight (even if not as affective) to get something like your grail. Congrats on this beauty !

Congratulations! You are officially part of a very rare group who can say they own a Mcfarlane Spiderman, a feat in itself! Not to mention, one of his top five covers of all time. I don't know if you had to sell your first born to acquire such a Grail, but, whatever you did, this a truly magnificent addition! From your stunning Barry Smith "The Tryst" masterpiece, to this beauty, amongst others, it is a collection to be envied! I am scared to ask, what is next?

I can't even imagine how many hours it took for Todd McFarlane to do this but that total pales into insignificance to the hours of enjoyment that lie ahead for you, with this little GEM ...

Can't believe I missed this when you posted it...and can't imagine a better example from his Spider-Man run. 'Grail' almost sounds too trite for something this striking.

Maria, what a fun way to close out the year and give yourself a masterpiece to view in the coming years. The best part about this hobby is that we get to hold history in our hands and enjoy the fruits of our labor over and over again. I'm very excited for you--congrats Maria!

Ya know Maria, when it comes to Todd's work, I don't think anyone could beat this piece for their collection. It is simply a magnificent cover art to add to a magnificent collection...way to go Maria!

My favorite Mcfarlane cover. period. This piece can be tagged "historic"! No Mcfarlane cover- IMHO -encapsulates the artist's style better. !HUGE! congrats
