DescriptionA while back, I realized a collecting dream of mine, to acquire the complete interconnecting set of ASM 797-801 covers by my hero, Humberto Ramos. These now legendary issues introduced us to the RED GOBLIN (Norman Osborn merged with the Carnage symbiote).(Thank you so much, P A!) I'll be posting these covers one by one in the next week or so. Here is the first one! I tell ya, nothing amps me up more than a battle cover that pits Spidey against one of his all-time greatest foes, the GREEN GOBLIN! Man, that dislocated right arm looks painful! Is that a power Spidey has now, to dislocate the arm so he reach around his body more easily? Or just artistic license? Either way, it looks really neat and as you say, it's always a thrill to be able to land Spidey vs Green Goblin covers, isn't it? Looking forward to the next three!

I'm so happy to see you post this set. You are in my opinion and without a doubt THE biggest Ramos collector in the world! This set was so hard for me to let go of, but I'm thrilled that its in the perfect home! Huge congrats dude!

This is going to be quite the show! Red Goblin Norman was the big event and was much talked about amongst comic collectors which would be considered the first appearance. Having all the covers solves that problem.

Oh love this one, standalone, and as part of the entire image. Honestly Spidey vs GG is what got me into Ramos in the first place and I always like seeing his images of those 2! He does not disappoint here. Big congrats, Paul!

I think I see how this works now. I only know two Paul's on CAF and they both have owned this set. So can anyone out there tell me what the legal procedure is for getting your name changed? I want to be next. LOL

Every pumpkin bomb is either looking at Spidey, or glancing side-eye at him through clever inking. Even when it's subtle, I so dig Ramos' humor. You can feel the speed and action in this cover, too. And so much crisp detail taken to each edge. Super sweet score. Congrats!
