DescriptionRounding out the Justice League circa George Perez 1984 post card series, we have a charcater that wasn't done justice back then because she had to share the llimelight with her counterpart. George suggested that this time aroound he do a separate post card for her, and of course, I agreed!! The resullt is briilliant. Amazing how GP created birds with negative space. Seriosuly, who but GP can draw like this. The man is more brilliant today than ever. This is one of my favorites in the series.Social/Sharing |

Ari, this in hands down my favourite of all your GP JL Series pieces. Graphically, it's beyond brilliant not to mention that Hawkwoman (or girl) looks particularly fetching. Love the wings!.. structured looking and inked to perfection! Mr. Perez's talent is limitless. Rethinking my stance on getting another piece and you're to blame. ;)

Great use of negative space, this is my favourite of your stunning collection. I hope to get something of this quality from the legend one day.

George wanted to give her a separate post card, and he certainly justified it as Hawkgirl comes across the page as powerful and majestic, with plenty of butt kicking potential. I agree about the use of negative space, it looks fantastic

This is just great, i don't know how you're getting George to do all these commissions but as Roy Thomas used to say, "Keep them flying."

No doubt that this one is among the best in the series. The inking is tremendous and the pose and layout are masterfully-executed. A real beauty, Ari!

My fave piece of the Shapiro JLA collection - the stance, the power conveyed, the hawks behind her. WOW
