Description

Well I finally have a true DWJ commission (following you TylerT!) and while it is just a commission, this is a true beauty. I met DWJ outside the hotel on Thursday and we chatted for a bit and he wished me luck to get on his list for a piece. I was lucky enough to get a slot for a commission from DWJ at HeroesCon on his Friday list.

When I stepped up to the table and said that I wanted Spidey fighting Carnage tendrils - we had some conversation back and forth, and then he executed this beauty in mere minutes. The face on this is has so much detail and the motion and kinetic flow of this is pure chaos - and screams what DWJ does best.

Really happy about this add to my collection (and can't wait to add more DWJ soon, right TylerT?)

Wow, absolutely great commission.

Kudos to you Eric for thinking of the brilliant idea of having

spidey fight off the Carnage Tendrils!

Absolutely gorgeous!

This is a perfect example of how DWJ can pack so much into a sketch. It's a great idea too! Chris absolutely knocked it out of the park coming up with this! The tendrils are such a nice touch. Now all you need is a Juggernaut to go along with it :)

Chris tells me what to wear daily as well. Let me know when you want to send me my new piece.

Really cool! Love the heavy ink lines.

I think we coincidentally requested similar pieces - mine is almost a "sequal" to this image, will post it now!

So much damage taken by Spidey in this piece!  It's like the ink itself is tearing into him with that expression of terror.

Fantastic commission! Now if Spider-Man could just get those tendrils off him, there are other villains waiting to pummel him.
