Description

There are pieces that you have admired, but never think you will be able to add to your collection. This is one of those pieces for me. It�s no secret that I am a fan of Steve McNiven, and this piece of art is something that I have wanted since I saw it - years ago. It connects so many things that I love about the character, and about the artist.

When I saw that Felix was going to do a McNiven drop and I saw this piece, I knew that I had to go for it. Fate smiled on me and I have this beauty in my collection now.

The colors on this are brilliant, and the detail is so hard to capture in a digital version. McNiven is at the height of his Civil War era game with this, and Spider-Man is showing the grit and determination that I love in a battle damaged Spidey.

Chin's OUUUUT :) Dude, McNiven went to town on this. Crazy detailing to render the battle damge, then some unreal color work! Whew. Congrats, man!

Tattered costume and web pattern of blood, McNiven adds that Peter Parker resilience popularized through the years in movies for stars show their dramatic mug. It works every time too as it does here with McNiven's flawless colors to compliment what you see of Peter Parker.

Superb piece Wenger! The colors knock your socks off, and then when you've recovered, you're hit with the extraordinary detail throughout this piece, and the masteful execution. A Home Run!

Gorgeous colors that really enhance the already detailed battle damage from McNiven. It's an excellent acquisition, and a banger from Steve McNiven. Really glad to see it go to someone who loves BDSM so much :)

Phenomenal battle-damaged Spider-Man by the great Steve McNiven! What a kick-ass drawing of Spidey--It really emphasizes his grit and determination! Spidey's motto should be: With great power comes great responsibility...and a lot of pain!" Love the pose, love the intense colors! Great pick-up, congrats!

Love to see this added in your gallery brother - it is home. McNiven is always good but these colors take it up another level. What did he use to get the richness in these colors? Congrats!!

Perfect partner piece for your Rivera battle-damaged piece. One with steely resolve, the other with the positivity to keep fighting the good fight, even after a(nother) brutal beating. Fantastic addition!
