Description

Over the years, I've seen several examples of Joe Shuster (creator of Superman) greeting card art, and I figured if I waited long enough, I'd find one with a "dancer" on it. I couldn't ask for a nicer example than this. This was just walking around in someone's portfolio at the con who was going home the next day, so it looks like I was "meant" to have it. :-) Came with a letter of provenance from Joe's partner in the 1960's, and a bonus of Joe's business card from that era.

What a find, Dave! I did a double take when I first saw it, wondering if you somehow got Joe's ghost to do it for you (now THAT'S determination!) How perfect for your theme. Thanks for the scan of this historical and lovely work.
