DescriptionHoly Cow!When I started doing these trophy wall commissions I had this idea of Han Solo and all the Empire Strikes Back bounty hunters as his trophies. It's an image I have had stuck in my head for years and have been dying to see completed by just the right artist. This piece was supposed to have been completed by another artist but once I reached nearly 6 years past when I expected to have it in hand I canceled the commission and, completely by accident, was introduced to the incredible talents of Nick Runge by his uber-representative Mike DeLeRee. Two months after set up, well ahead of schedule, and completely beyond my expectations I received THIS piece. The image area is 18"x27" and the details and finishes are simply top notch, when of the nicest pieces I have ever commissioned from anyone. Well, looking at this piece I can't imagine anyone else having a hand in creating this piece. It feels like it was made for him to create it and he just nailed it. This is beyond fantastic! Chris, I am continually impressed by the pieces you get done and even more so by some of the insanely talented artists you get to do them. Took me 5 minutes to post this comment b/c as I was typing, I thought I should stop and find out if I can get on Nick's commission list! Well done Chris - another absolute gem!

Murray you are probably right to do that. Given how talented Nick is, I am shocked he hasn't been snapped up my a movie studio or major publisher and given an A-list book to create a long run of covers. I feel very lucky to have this piece and so many good friends in this hobby.

Chris, Let me first say THANK YOU for getting this commission done by Nick. Because of you we can all enjoy this incredible piece from a very talented artist. He really enjoyed doing it and has enjoyed seeing all of the comments from the OA collecting community. And thank you for the nice write up on the piece.

Wow! this is just spectacular! Don't know why i've never heard of this guy before but Nick Runge is a beast! Great great great piece of art! One of the best Star wars images I've ever seen. nick should get official with them
