Description

I attended my very first convention last weekend in Pittsburgh (Sept. 27, 28, 29th) and truthfully, I'm still on a 'high' from it!! It certainly won't be an experience I'll forget mostly due to finally meeting dear friends and well, the awesome artists that were there.

I was so looking forward to meeting Mr. Perez, thank him for my beautiful Wonder Woman piece and well, let him know that he's been in my prayers.

When he realized who I was, he insisted on doing a sketch for me and the result is this very cute Judge Anderson. I have other pieces from the convention to post but I just had to share this first. To meet the legendary George Perez was a sheer honor and unexpected joy. :)

It was soo nice to finally meet you, too!! My recovery time is taking a bit longer than I thought BUT I wouldn't change anything. The Con was a complete blast. Already looking forward to next year. :)

What I've taken from conventions is that it's nice to meet artists and friends but it's even nicer to see them again at the next convention. So glad you were able to go and meet George, he's quite a wonderful man from everything I've heard and I hope to meet him someday too. This is a really nice sketch of a character that I never would have imagined George drawing. Nice to see this and hope you have as much fun and luck at your next con as you did at this one. :)
