Description

One of Daredevil's greatest villains, the GLADIATOR, literally carves up the page in this superb Gene Colan silver-age pin-up.

A sensational looking page created twice-up scale rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5".
Signed by Gene Colan.

This page is, in my opinion, the BEST Gene Colan page from this annual, and the BEST image ever pencilled of THE GLADIATOR.

I will be listing this page only once on eBay, as it has been in my collection for eleven years,
so if I don't get what is a reasonable price for a page so awesome, I will lock it away for another decade.

A fine splash, Andrew! I remember seeing it for sale at a Convention in Berkeley around 2001, when I visited friends in San Francisco. The asking price was 3 K which I thought was over the top ;-)
