Description

A dynamic early page which really illustrates how Marvel quickly dominated the comics field in the 1960s. A Kirby-esque design and execution with terrific movement and excitement. Ayers certainly learned design from inking master Kirby's pencil on other works. A particularly early super hero 1963 twice up page. Make Mine Marvel.

I was really watching this from the auction and thought it represented very good value for what this is. A superb early Marvel Age splash. One of the best Ayers drawn pages I have seen and a great Torch Page. Wonderful piece! Bravo!!
