Description1968 was a great year for Steranko... his brief industry changing work at Marvel was nevertheless breathtaking and included covers for Strange Tales, Nick Fury- Agent of Shield, and the mind blowing Hulk annual #1 cover and several X-Men covers... this finished drawing was produced during this heady period, during a leisurely hotel room break at the summer 1968 New York Comic-Con, on 18” x 19” dated ‘7/7/68’ and signed. Now that is outstanding. Nobody did Fury better than Steranko.
