I love this Stone inked early 1964 Marvel page with X-Men and Avengers galore!! These early pages really are works of art...strong confident inking over Kirby's masterful pencils...it doesn't get more classic than this.

Chic finishes over K I R B Y. I can't swear to Chic's working process. I like to imagine Chic reflected Jack's pencils on to marble using natural sunlight. Than he carves the images out of marble using a mighty chisel. Finally he beckons the power of the sun to melt the ink images over Jack's layouts. The result is what you have here. A master finish. Just look at Thor. Museum worthy***
