Description

Another Gerry Talaoc gem from 1982. There's some serious ink-slinging going on here. This would have been the first page of issue #47 of "Secrets of Haunted House", but the series ended with #46. This was never published, unless it was published elsewhere (which is doubtful). I've always loved Gerry Talaoc's artwork, especially in the Unknown Soldier stories (nobody draws the bandages as well as GT, imho), but this one spoke to me. Looks like Big Pharma is getting ready to celebrate a fantastic new drug...but wait...what's going on in that last panel? Oops... Check the detail image. I would love to know how this story ends, but I guess I'll never find out. Enjoy!

Very cool! Love these DC Bronze Age Filipino "Tribe" horror pages. Cruz, Talaoc, Redondo, Alcala, etc.. Great stuff.

Agree 100%. Very underrated artists working at tiny page rates. Loaded with detail which usually got swallowed up by the coloring. No shot at the colorists who were just doing their job, but most of these pieces look far superior in B&W.
