Description

From 1968 - 1975 Perry Rhodan Unser Mann im All was published in Germany, based on the very popular pulp novel series Perry Rhodan.
The series was drawn by the Studio Giolitti, the specific artist of this page (# 63) is unfortunately unknown (to what I know). Any help is appreciated.

While the series started rather conventional it took a turn into a vivid pop art psychodelic direction from around #37 onwards. Growing up I remember how irritated and attracted I was as a kid when suddenly I was looking at screaming colours, swirling pop art elements and very often half naked women. This is quite different to my conventional Western, Funnies and Tarzan comics.
Got the page through a very nice German collector through CAF who lives only 30 miles from my home. So one sometimes requires a US website to meet other collectors in your (German) neighbourhood :-)
