DescriptionWe moved recently. I have kept pictures of the art on my walls in the past few houses we have lived in active in this gallery. This was a downsize for us as our kids are all off to school. I didn't have nearly as many walls and rooms to fill this time. Over the years I did break my wife's resistance to the comic art and some of it has crept into main areas. Also, she is more permissive of the illustration art. So in the next 2 or 3 pictures you will see the art we have up in my office area as well as the one wall of our bedroom. There is a bit of art in other areas but not enough to take pictures off (some little Lulus in the bathroom, an X-men cover by Michael Cho at the end of hall and some random pieces in the kid's rooms). Clearly I need some professional help as I feel like I must fill every inch of space. The first entry is of my home office which has every wall filled with art. Social/Sharing |

Walls were hungry for frames! You can almost name each wall like giving them street names.

Walls eat frames!!!! Take the art off immediately. Thanks for the warning, Marcus.

Thx for showing us your museum od comic art. Impressive! One question - what is the piece framed together with Tardi page?

The truth is revealed! In additional image 2 you can see that this is not Jeffs office, but Mat Cutters office! I thought Mat was spelt Matt? Lol.

Awe-inspiring walls, Jeff, congrats and thanks for sharing! Just 2 questions: 1) Why Nizzoli has been framed along with Tardi? 2) Is there a garden for your cool Totoro statue to display? 😺

Thanks for comment. The frame with two pieces was horizontal. I wanted both the Tardi and Nizzoli art up and frame worked for that. I had them framed like that at old house too. It is an easy frame to switch art in and out of. I'm often moving art around. Even since setting this up last week I've already made changes you don't see here like putting up the Patric Nagel and the Giger acid blotter paper print. Totoro did come with us and is happily watching the front of the house. I'll put that picture up soon.

Legendary! This is a wonderful museum of the best of the art form. There's so much too look at; it will take several viewings to fully appreciate it. Thanks for sharing!

Inch-per-inch, your home office might be the densest collection of amazing art I've seen in one place.

Have art, will travel! That must have been quite a job. I hope you didn't waste money on repainting the walls because they are well-covered :)

It looks great Jeff and new walls need new art ! I moved 5 years ago after being settled for 32 years and couldn't wait to put up new art and just like you, I placed every frame within inches of each other! I guess I need professional help to,congrats !

Everyone on the site needs professional help, say others who have hobbies we look at askance, and inwardly think of them as they think of us; why are they collecting that stuff? Marks on paper we dream of owning...The world is mad but amusingly so.

I enjoy the high concentration of strip art that is displayed Jeff. Was a bit nervous at first until I did locate one of your Carol Day beauties. David Wright had to be there. We knew Caniff would be well represented. Just an amazing part of an amazing collection.
Glad to see you getting moved in my friend!

Don't back up into that Joe Kubert, Jeff! Looks like you're getting settled in. We'll need to do another walk through one day.

Oh my goodness. That's exactly how I want my house to look. Now if I could only get my wife to agree lol. Atleast I am getting one room to start looking like that.
