DescriptionYet another purchase at SFAL2 (oh, our bank account!). A new sculpture by the incomparable Virginie Ropars. We had been wanting something by Virginie for many years and we were finally able to add this to our collection. Incredibly detailed with many subtle touches, the picture doesn't really do it justice. During the show Virginie and the Shiflett Bros took turns sculpting a piece and, yes, it was cool, too.12" tall. Polymer clay and mixed media. Social/Sharing |

Gawd, walking through your house must be a treat for the senses! I love Virginie's work, so dark and visceral. Huge congrats on yet another amazing addition (and bank accounts be damned!)

Discovering her work for the first time at the 1st Spectrum Live show was one of the treats of that weekend for me. So great.
