DescriptionWhat better way to kickoff my first CAF gallery addition of 2024 than by sharing this amazing homage to Bob Larkin's Hulk poster by the incredibly talented artist, Jonathan Wayshak?!I don't even have this in hand and almost never post before looking at a piece in person but I just had to share this. I set this up as an OAX pre-show commission - feel free to stop by and enjoy in person yourself at the show. Jonathan is a great artist and extremely great to work with on a commission - I highly recommend if you are considering a piece for yourself. Social/Sharing |

Absolutely gorgeous rendering. When I stare at it upclose, for some reason am reminded of the Rock Biter in the Never Ending Story. Congrats DW!

Sweet! Love the lighting on the forehead and brow, going to darker underneath. Killer gritty adn spatter-y details, too! Congrats, man - will make it a point to check it out in person this weekend at the show!

Wayshak is amazing and that attention to detail should be commended. Just look at those cracks in Hulk's teeth - nothing compared to whoever's soon to be on the other side of that fist that is. Another fabulous addition to the Larkin Homage gallery Dave!

Thank you M L! I totally agree - can you believe he was worried he didn't capture it how I wanted it - felt it might be too tight on the face? I quickly explained it far exceeded my expectation (which were pretty high based on his work).

Thanks Chris. I try to pick artists I think will turn out a great Larkin homage, but there is always an element of "risk" in a commission. Results like this are what drives the continued pursuit of this series.

Wow! Crazy cool Hulk homage by the amazing Jonathan Wayshak! Love this super intense Hulk looking like he could rip the head off anyone who looks at him the wrong way. Wayshak's skill is really on display in this fierce commission! What a great piece to pick up at OAX! Congrats!
