DescriptionWow, not sure where to start on this one. Skottie has evaded me for years. Of all the cons I have attended over the years, I have not seen Skottie since a Mid Ohio show about 10 years ago. I was able to go to Heroes this year and was THRILLED to see Skottie was going to be at the show. When I learned he was doing more than the normal head shots at the show I knew my con experience was going to be amazing. I pitched the idea at Skottie and he jumped on the chance. I just knew he would nail this in his unique style and I was right. HOMERUN commission. Skottie said this might have been his favorite piece of the weekend which was what I was hoping.Additional photos of Skottie starting to lay down the inks and one happy Hulk collector. Also included are the commissions I have in hand for this series - David Finch (waiting for inks to post in the gallery), Ed McGuinness, and Skottie. UPDATE - added digital color version I found online done by Jon Hark Social/Sharing |

I was lucky enough to see this one in person and I have to say it's INCREDIBLE!!! This piece brought out a little Sam Kieth in Skottie's style to me which I LOVE.

The awesomeness of this piece goes beyond description. Has to be seen in person to get all the fine details.

This is such a great theme and Skottie really brought it with his take on it. Congrats Dave!

Great homage! Really like the idea of having different artists giving their take on a central image.

Thanks for sharing this story! I shared this art today as a St Patricks Day post and many people had never seen it and wanted to know more.
