Description

GRAIL PIECE!

Original comic art measures 21.5"x17". Pencils and ink on the back of a DC blueline board. Signed by artist. Dated 2014.

This is one of my all-time favorite Batwoman covers and also one of Rafael's favorites as well. Oddly enough this piece was almost purchased by Jeremy Haun, the current interior artist on Batwoman, but his wife convinced him that they should buy the cover for #32 instead. I'm glad of it, too, so I could purchase this stunning cover. (Thanks, Lori! *wink*)

Please also note that Maggie Sawyer, the figure on the bottom, does not have any clothes on in the original artwork. She was given a shirt for the published cover version. It's a shame, too: this piece works so much better as it is on many levels.
