Description

An original illustration of Mickey Mouse used for a caramel bar advertisement. Measuring 5"x 8", the illustration is accomplished in ink, white paint, and screentone on artist board. Likely the work of artists from the comic strip section and my guess is Floyd Gottfredsen penciler and Ted Thwaites inker.
Has " copyright W.D.ENT.". - I would like to order a freezer full of those one cent bars. if you have any information as to producer and date of production please drop me a note. Is anyone alive who can remember eating this treat ? I can recall that later, in the early forties always having five cents to buy a rainbow popsicle at the Saturday Matinee with feature movie, news, cartoon, coming attraction, and serial; all for fifteen cents. - P.S. How about a wrapper?
