Description

Hard to put into words how happy I am with this piece. I commissioned this from Jim in the spring and avoided looking at his blog as summer approached b/c I wanted to wait to see it in person. Boy, was I surprised! I had requested Afrodisiac in the Danger Room getting Jean's attentions with a distraught Scott in the background. Jim liked my idea and asked about including an extra X-chick or two and mocking it up like a cover. I get more happy about this one every time I look at it. This is a piece I can't decide what I like best about: Dazzler's roller skates, Wolverine knocked out on the floor, the hand lettering, Charles and those telepathic lines, the posture of Emma and Psylocke, or the cigarette smoke, or Jean herself! Wow... THANK YOU kindly Jim! HEROES CON 2013.
