Description

I know this is penciled by Matthew Ryan (who did some great inks for Andy Kubert and some of my favorite covers on X-Men Classic), but the reason I bought it was because it was inked by Williamson. It is signed on the front and the guy I bought it from didn't realize it was THAT Al Williamson. This was my other great original art find at the South Attleboro Comic Con (this and the Adam Hughes Star Trek page).

Known Provenance: Purchased at the Attleboro Toy and Comic Show from a dealer named Jim. He told me that he got it in a trade from a private collector.

Good advice ian. I really like this page, it goes to show how much a great inker contributes to the final look. His "line" is distinctively Al Williamson.

Thank Ye! The first time I saw Matt's work was on the cover to an issue of X-Men Classic. I think it reprinted a fight with Nimrod? And there isn't much that hasn't been said about Williamson. I feel very fortunate to have this one.
