DescriptionGene Day was an extraordinary artist and storyteller. He also produced some of the finest 'Steranko'esque layouts in MOKF. I love the way Death Dealer emerges from the shadows and battles Shang Chi while we zoom into Fu Manchu's eyes as he narrates the story. It's brilliant and has everything I would want in a MOKF page. Huge thanks to Larry for the a great transaction and Bill for the great Comic Art Live event, this was my first pick up and I definitely plan on attending more in the future.Social/Sharing |

Day was always innovative with the page design, the top row of panels correspond with the bottom in size and subject. They work visually and storywise like a pallindrome. All done to frame the all important center action panel.

Thanks! I'm a sucker for any kind of zip tone on the page!

Very nice sequencing across the narrow panels. Great pacing.
