Description

Gene Day was an extraordinary artist and storyteller. He also produced some of the finest 'Steranko'esque layouts in MOKF. I love the way Death Dealer emerges from the shadows and battles Shang Chi while we zoom into Fu Manchu's eyes as he narrates the story. It's brilliant and has everything I would want in a MOKF page. Huge thanks to Larry for the a great transaction and Bill for the great Comic Art Live event, this was my first pick up and I definitely plan on attending more in the future.

Day was always innovative with the page design, the top row of panels correspond with the bottom in size and subject. They work visually and storywise like a pallindrome. All done to frame the all important center action panel.
