What I truly appreciate about Wood are his personal passion projects; Witzend, Dynamo and lastly The Wizard King. His final project may not have worked out the way he had hoped but the fact that he took the chance to leave the big two to do his own work was something big name artists rarely did in those days. Couldn't agree more about Wood. Not just a true Master, but a Master among Masters. This is a beautiful example. Will definitely have to check this out the next time I pop by (or you could just bring it on your next visit or our next lunch).

Fantastic fantasy work by one of the all time hall of fame artists! Every panel shows his expertise in the illustration discipline and put together, they display his wide range of storytelling.
