I was the winner of this auction 30+ years ago. After purchasing this painting, I was allowed to commission Alex directly to paint a recreation of my choice for $2,000. However, he would not recreate any cover more than once, and my first few choices had already been painted. So, I eventually settled on Marvel Mystery #15. I sure wish that I had them back!
