Description

André Franquin is the other belgian comic Master. Less famous in the US than Hergé, Franquin created "Gaston Lagaffe", "Idées Noires" and the "Marsupilami", who features on this cover.
Franquin is also know for his huge contribution to the Belgian hero: "Spirou", who still owns his proper weekly magazine, like "Tintin" several years ago.
All those names don't ring a bell to you, my dear US friends?

wouah ! j'ai toute mon enfance qui revient d'un coup ! le classique des classiques de la BD. en plus en y regardant d'un peu plus près à mon âge... n'y aurait-il pas quelques symbolismes cachées dans cette couverture ?
