Description

Another ballpoint pen art for my new art book, WOMEN BOOK 2, coming out in November through Image Comics.

At the rate I'm doing these ballpoint pen sketches, I may have enough to fill a big fat sketchbook next year.

I used BIC ballpoint pen, medium point. Black ink on Bristol board, vellum surface.

Steve Morger is my art agent. Bother him.

Awesome work. I love the cross-hatching. If you don't mind my asking, how does the paper take the BIC pen? Does it fade over time? Just curious.

The most amazing part is that it it is done with a direct medium which leaves no chanche for redoes.

No doubt I share your enthusiasm about this great piece, but please take a look at the amazing ballpoint pen works by the Italian artist Riccardo Mannelli... IMHO his talent is no less extraordinary than Frank's.
