DescriptionI am speechless about how remarkable this breath-taking commissioned artwork collaboration produced by the celebrated husband & wife team of Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell has turned out!This masterpiece’s journey began in early 2014 when I first contacted the gifted tandem about doing a piece for me and putting me on their hectic schedule. Well after a year of enduring bouts of anxiety and stress, I contacted them again in the spring of 2015 to see if they were geared up to begin my commission. Sure enough, the extraordinary couple were excited to get started and the rest as they say is now history. Although I had another version of Superman vs. Darkseid in my CAF gallery for several years, I was not fully content with the results and felt passionate about it being rendered better. I’m here to tell you folks; it doesn’t get any better than this! Superman vs. Darkseid, one of the most frenzied rivalries in all of comic lore is brought to life right here! These two demi-gods have been battling on Apokolips for a good while!!! Just look at the blood flying & absolute detestation for each other on their faces! With the fate of Earth and the universe in the balance, who will be the last Titan standing?! Boris and Julie did a stupendous job translating my conceptual vision into this highly comprehensive commissioned work of brilliance. They are indisputably two of the most virtuoso Artists in the game today and their vocation cannot be denied. In my opinion, this is in all probability the best collaboration artwork they have done to date, bar none! Boris has been doing renowned fantasy artwork for 60+ years and Julie is an award winning artistic genius in her own right. Solo each Artist is amazing, but together they are untouchable. Their styles are so analogous that there is no sure way to differentiate whom contributed what rudiments to this magnum opus. Big thanks to Boris and Julie for blessing me with this timeless treasure! You did me proud my friends and I will most indeed get countless years of delight, adulation & bliss from this painting being a part of my gallery! This work of art measures 24" w x 18" h and was handsomely done in an oil medium on a Strathmore cotton illustration board. Social/Sharing |

Imy lord this is the most amazing painting I've seen in ages , Boris & Julie are masters in the arts . Feel proud too own a piece by two of e most prolific painters in the biz which in my eyes is a shoe in for CAF Highlight , congrats
