The best of 80's indies must include Nexus for it's high quality presentation in the paper and design from First, and also Baron and Rude's storytelling was first class all the way. The cartooning flow, the spotted inks, the crisp lines were all a throwback to classic sci-fi from decades before the comics code authority.
