Description

No, that's not a misspelling.

It's Venumb!

I actually bought this fun cover in 2015. I've been waiting for the perfect occasion to post it, and since my theme this week is "Quirky," I figured there's no time like the present.

I just love this cover. It was published by Parody Press, which seems very appropros as this is obviously a Venom parody issue.

The idea of a diminutive Venom in a thick spider's web being threatened by a simple can of Raid is hilarious to me.

Thanks for looking, and I hope it gives you a chuckle.

This comedic cover is obviously a red herring to throw everyone off the trail of mysterious death of everyone's beloved hedgehog.

The perspective is drawn in such a way that indicates Venom is as large as he always is, not diminutive. But this is crazy. Could the publisher really get away with this under the "fair use" law simply because they have the word "parody" in the company name? They didn't even change his appearance, all they changed is the spelling of his name. Wacky and crazy, that's for sure!

I say we shake em down. With the earnings from this and sales of your Sonic collection we will get your kids college paid yet.

John C is onto something, Paul...What are you hiding?! Heh, this is very Not Brand Ecch-ish. Great concept, a can of raid for Venom. Fun cover! Congrats
