DescriptionReleased on Nov 13 2024, Venom #39 came out three weeks before All-New Venom #1.Carlos Gomez drew this awesome 'foreshadow variant' cover that showcases the new look of this mysterious new Venom. Appropriately, Carlos is also currently drawing the amazing interiors for the All-New Venom ongoing title. Who is the host this time? There are a number of candidates -- though I just read issue #2, and one of them was seemingly ruled out on the last page. Should be a lot of fun! Though I gotta say, Dylan Brock has turned into a real ass. As a side note, I seem to be collecting works by these new superstar artists who only draw penciled covers. Carlos Gomez, Elizabeth Torque, Paco Medina ... No inks exist. But since they all produce such beautifully tight pencils, I'm not complaining. Social/Sharing |

A dazzling display of dizzying dynamism! What's up with the spider symbol? Stay gold, Ponyboy!

Wow! That's a pretty cool look for sure. Digging the "death from above" perspective too.

This all new Venom is the gold standard! All the old school visciousness with a whole new shine by Gomez!

Dylan turning into an ass is a result of his parents giving him a symbiote of his own at far too young an age.

if this new crop of Marvel cover artists are killing it on the graphite sticks then I say amen! glad that they are still doing some sort of traditional art, Carlos killed it with this one and it's very cool that he's on the interiors for the new series featuring this new Venom. I haven't read much Dylan Brock content since the end of the Donny Cates run in the symbiote books but tbh not surprised he's turned into an ass, looking forward to finding out how/why though! great cover congrats Paul

Yeah, those are some TIGHTLY fine pencils...zerio inks needed! Like that straight up (or down depending how you look at it!) perspective...adds to the depth and energy. Congrats!
