Okay, I'm giddy as a school girl!

Thanks to an understanding and very supportive wife I now own a piece from one of my Grail Artists. I've been blown away by Sam's work since Maxx when I first discovered him and then going back to "marvel" (pun intended) at all the MCP covered and stories.

Though I think I did collect this issue back in the day because it was a Sam Kieth cover and I was into independents, I admit I don't know much about the books or the character. I do love how I get the awesome trademark cape along with his distinctive menacing "ready to pounce" pose from our hero. I also get the bonus of a few warriors and some cool battle axes!! So Win, Win, Win!!! (IMHO).

My thanks to Albert Moy for the painless transaction! This one is going in the frame and straight on the wall!!

It's a big beautiful big page (15x20) and should look amazing in a nice dark frame.

Unfortunately I will need to pump the breaks for a few months, but it was soooo worth it!

Hope you all enjoy it as much as me.

Beautiful in execution, Kieth loves bringing a shine to the less than heroic looking characters and giving them a showcase featured role that displays their magnificence laid bare.

Congrats on your first kieth cover kenneth ! I know what's it like to finally get a piece of his unique work.My wife and I made the plunge some months back and we finally landed a couple of them at the right time.
