Right up there with MARVEL SPOTLIGHT #5 as Ploog's best. In the top 10 Marvel covers of the '70s. Love it!

This is I think one of only 2 Ploogs covers that I actually covet. I remember seeing this and thinking....that's a great cover. It looks just as good today as it did then. Congrats.

I know it is hard for younger people used to movies on demand to comprehend that, as a kid, I had to wait (none too patiently, I should add) to catch the old Universal horror films on some way-past-my-bedtime Saturday night creature feature. While all of those movies seemed enticing, I wanted to see Frankenstein vs. the Wolfman more than just about anything. The title alone conjured the most fiendishly wonderful images in my imagination. These old Marvel covers that pitted their monsters against each had that same magic, and, in my mind, Ploog's mojo elevates this to the top of the monster mash heap.

Well, after commenting on about a half dozen of your other gems, I think I've finally run out of adjectives for this piece! So I'll simply say, congratulations again!

Ridiculous that this cover has only 660 views. One of the best Marvel 70's covers PERIOD! I had a shot at this and it's a huge regret that I did not find a way to make it happen, but it's in a great collection.

Just an outstanding piece in every way! This is one of my favorite covers of all time, from a handful of books that ignited my passion for comics as a child. If only we'd had a decade of Ploog monster comics for Marvel! I found this in an old email: "(The Werewolf By Night #15 cover)... another one that I sadly will never own." ~ John Butler 4/11/07. Proof that good things can happen to good people in this nutty hobby! Thanks for sharing this exquisite slice of history!
