Description

Did you ever ask an artist for a con-sketch and have them exceed your expectations by so much you felt like you were unworthy of the piece they created? Well that has only happened with two artists for me, Adam Hughes is the first, and the second happened this weekend in the person of Wade Furlong. A young up and comer who has a wide range of ability and some great talent for the absurd, Wade took my simple request for a nice rendition of anyone of the "tinies" of his choice and he gave me this.... Incredible detai through and through. Wade did this piece in two parts. On one board he put death with his umbrella, and on the second board he put all the children. He drew each child distinctly and differently in his own unique style. I was incredibly blown away by what he accomplished here and I think everone should have a piece by him in their collection. What a great theme for a sketchbook. I'm sure it's going to be fun to fill this out!

This is the best gallery ever!!! I'm a huge fan of Gorey and this poem in particular! Great idea for a theme.
