I am instantly transported back to the long gone Big Apple Comics on 92nd street and Broadway, the day I saw this, my first issue of Judge Dredd. A big thank you to Brian Bolland for drawing this and selling it. And thanks to his rep Joseph Melchior. Also a huge thanks to whoever bid against me and drove the price up.

Holy Cow...so it was YOU that go this. You have great taste my man. And no it wasn't me that bid you up. I cleaned out my wallet, bank account and couch cushions to pick up my own pieces from Brian, so I plead innocent on that charge.

It has to be challenging to move the 'wow factor' needle when you have such a stunning collection as a starting point...but this one certainly does so!

Boy I remember seeing this at M&M Comics in Nyack, New York in a card board stand. I knew nothing of the character, but was instantly hooked by this one image. IMO it is one of the top 25 covers of all time. Thanks for posting this.
