Every once in a while Terry posts art for sale on twitter and has potential buyers email him about purchasing the pieces. Recently Terry posted a few pieces and this was one of them. When I saw the page I knew it was too good to pass up so I immediately sent him an email and purchased the page.

The page arrived today and it is fantastic. I went back and reread the part of the story where this page would have been used and I am actually very surprised that Terry decided to cut it but I can understand how it could have changed the story in the long run. Terry commented on the page before he actually posted it. "This is from a scene where Julie confronts her estranged husband to ask him back. She has the alloy and uses it to get the truth from him. Obviously this is from early in story when Julie and her life was a wreck. She grows from here to become a real badass. I loved watching her transition. It inspires me to do the same. Weird for a writer to say of his own character, but its true."

I love everything about the page. It is just a fantastic touching moment between the 2 even if her estranged husband doesn't want to admit it. The emotion that Terry can portray is phenomenal. I love the 3rd panel where you can see that glimmer of hope in Julie's eyes. That is the panel that made me have to have the page. I am thrilled to have such an awesome Echo page even if it did end up on the cutting room floor.

Congrats on a great page! I love the craftsmanship Terry puts into each page, rare in today's comics.
