Description

A year plus in the making but well worth the wait, this awesome piece was presented to me by Michael at this years NYCC. Michael always goes above and beyond and this time added in the buildings and birds, which really give a sense of scale to this huge kaiju, featured in Guillermo Del Toro's Pacific Rim.

A stunning piece of ink work, now using a brush marker and fine liner for his commissions, which give a more refined and finished feel to the art. Large areas are still filled in using his trusty Sharpie.

Love the texturing on the neck, the uplighting and those birds!

Truly awesome!

Drawn on an 11 x 17 sheet of bristol comicbook paper which I gave to Michael.
