DescriptionAlternate cover art for my own Masters of British Comic Art book, sold directly by the publishers Rebellion as a limited edition variant. Brian Bolland drew the main cover so it seemed like a fun idea (thanks to editor Keith for the suggestion)to pay tribute to him for the variant; so the eagle eyed among you might have spotted that this is a take-off of Brian's memorable late 70s Forbidden Planet adverts. In this case I swapped the American heroes for their home-grown British counterparts, trying to cram as many in as possible. Can you name them all.. and spot all the hidden references?Social/Sharing |
