Description

Set these up with Bill's helper, Sue, a couple of weeks ago, as a Pre-NYCC commission. Super smooth transaction.

We've got four Universal Monsters* and one Paramount.#

The Wolfman (1941)*
The Invisible Man (the image is taken from The Invisible Man Returns starring Vincent Price) (1940)*
The Creature From The Black Lagoon (1954)*
The Phantom Of The Opera (1925) *
Mr. Hyde from Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931)#

2.5" x 3.5" on thick darker gray illustration board/sketchcard stock (provided by Bill).

Seems to be inks wash/gouache/acrylic, not 100% sure of the materials used.

So, so, SO cool. A great project that Bill was obviously all-in on. Love the Invisible Man here! I know these were based on the famous movie stills, but Bill has a way of making them feel like these are the stills -themselves-; pieces of old celluloid chopped right out of an original weathered master print. So fun... it's scary! :) Great Halloween-time post, Justin! Congrats!
