Description

A framing page from the upcoming graphic novel: The comic shop manager discovers another strange comic book. Alex Raymond´s fatal car crash on the cover again, but this time the car crashes into a stone wall. In the first version it hit a tree. Strange metaphysical permutations going on here.
The comic book in question is the second volume of Dave Sim´s planned (and abandoned) IDW Strange Death of Alex Raymond comic book series. Once again Carson Grubaugh has drawn everything on this page, including the facsimile of the detailed Sim-drawn cover.
This is page 36 in the limited test edition, and it will also be published in the upcoming full edition of The Strange Death of Alex Raymond.

Love the third panel with the screen glow as the light source. The impeccable art is above and beyond what we typically see and we are being spoiled with every post from this series.
