Strange Death of Alex Raymond page

A complete version of The Strange Death of Alex Raymond will finally be published! Dave Sim abandoned the project, but his collaborator Carson Grubaugh has completed the story, and a 320 page HC book will be published in July 2021. Everything drawn in a photo-realistic style.
This page is one of the framing pages. It shows comic shop manager Jack VanDyke discovering for the first time a mysterious comic book. Everything on this page is drawn by Carson Grubaugh, and that includes the facsimile of the detailed Sim-drawn cover for volume one of the planned (and abandoned) comic book serial version - a cover which of course shows Alex Raymond and Stan Drake crashing into a tree on that fateful day in September 1956.
