A framing page from the upcoming graphic novel: The comic shop manager discovers another strange comic book. Alex Raymond´s fatal car crash on the cover again, but this time the car crashes into a stone wall. In the first version it hit a tree. Strange metaphysical permutations going on here.
The comic book in question is the second volume of Dave Sim´s planned (and abandoned) IDW Strange Death of Alex Raymond comic book series. Once again Carson Grubaugh has drawn everything on this page, including the facsimile of the detailed Sim-drawn cover.
This is page 36 in the limited test edition, and it will also be published in the upcoming full edition of The Strange Death of Alex Raymond.
