Description

Jack Katz, at 83, did this for me in 2011 demonstrating why he was such a stellar Golden Age artist. The man drew Archie in 1943, drew Bulletman, drew Sub-Mariner in the Silver Age, and did tons of other characters along the way before embarking on First Kingdom, one of the first independent comics ever. The great Bob Almond handles inks and gives a great look to Jack's pencils.

This is a splash page to Alter Ego #177 p.73 (TwoMorrows Sept. 2022).

Bob did blue-line inks so Jack's pencils could be preserved (see additional images for the pencils and the published page).
